Artist In Residence : Sarah Painter Hayes

Sarah Painter Hayes will be in residency at WMA through early November, where she will be researching Alabama ecology and our natural landscapes. She will be working full time in the Wiregrass to expand and advance her studio practice and will work to complete a new, large scale painting based on Alabama’s people and places, in the style of her “Florida Girls” paintings. 

You can visit Painter Hayes during open studio hours at WMA, every Wednesday from 12-5pm through November 6, as well as during WMA’s Pumpkin Patch event on October 26 from 10am-2pm.
