Here at the Wiregrass Museum, we are excited to be putting on the finishing touches for the 2026, 35th Anniversary, Youth Art Month exhibition!
Next week, Tuesday, March 3rd, we will have the opening reception of the exhibition from 4:30 – 7:30.
If you cannot join us at the opening reception, you are welcome to come see the art during our normal hours of operation, Wednesday – Friday from 10 am – 5:00 pm and Saturdays from 10 am – 3 pm from March 4th – 28th.
To celebrate our 35th Anniversary, we have a wealth of student centered programming happening in March!
We start the month with our FREE monthly First Saturday Family Day on Saturday March 7th. Pop in with your family any time between 10:30 am – 2:30 pm!
We also have our FREE after school Art program for teens age 13 – 17, Studio 126, happening Tuesdays from 4 – 5:30 pm. Registration required.
Classes on each of the remaining Saturdays for the month of March:
March 14th – Read A Little Art A Lot One Day Workshop 10 am – 12 pm for ages 5 – 8. Registration required.
March 21st – Pinch Pot Frog Friends with Helen Wu 12:30 – 2:30 pm for ages 8 – 12. Registration required.
March 28th – Emotive Abstractions with Beth White 10 am – 12 pm for ages 5 – 8. Registration required.
PLUS we have:
Tuesday, March 24th – Write Night: Children and Teen Open Mic Night from 6 pm – 7 pm. FREE
And March 26th – our FREE monthly Toddler Hour! on Toddler Thursdays from 9 am – 10 am for ages 15 months – 4 years.
