$60 for members, $70 for not-yet-members.
Join Aimee Burr as she teaches a sampling of the basic accordion fold. Kids will make three books, each adding a new level to the accordion. Before you even begin folding, you will make your stamps to add personal details to all of your books! Aimee makes books, embroideries, and quilts, and recently began to merge book and fiber art as she found herself integrating paper, fabric, and threads naturally.
This program is part of WMA’s ongoing Visiting Artist Series, which will focus on themes and inspirations from the museum’s collections-based exhibitions throughout 2021.
Workshop participants are required to wear a mask during the class as a caution against COVID-19. By registering through the link below, you agree to comply with the mask requirement for the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers.
Pre-registration is required no later than Thursday, October 7th.
