Cultivate creativity and innovation at studio classes and artist workshops, and learn from the art and artists of our time through the Visiting Artist Series programs. Enjoy hands-on artmaking at events like Art After Hours, hear from your local creatives at Write Night, or schedule a guided tour for your group to visit together. Connect with new and old friends with regular visits to our exhibitions on view, and enjoy the museum’s garden spaces in downtown Dothan. Volunteers and docents (tour guides) are always needed at WMA, and you can learn more here.
Tours at WMA are composed of both gallery and studio time and are geared towards K-6 grades. On the tour of our galleries, students will be led by one of our trained docents as they learn about select pieces on display.
