The Wiregrass Museum of Art proudly presents B26: Wiregrass Biennial, a juried exhibition featuring contemporary artists from across the Southeastern United States. Selected from more than 900 submissions, the exhibition brings together 36 artists representing nine states and a wide range of artistic practices, including painting, sculpture, installation, multimedia, and illustration.
Juried by Sean Miller and Bethany Taylor, B26 highlights artists whose works demonstrate innovation, strong conceptual vision, and thoughtful engagement with the social, environmental, and cultural realities of the Contemporary South. Across the exhibition, recurring themes of transformation, memory, systems, identity, and belonging emerge through deeply personal and materially inventive approaches.
The Wiregrass Biennial serves as a platform for both emerging and established artists, fostering dialogue and connection across the region while offering audiences an opportunity to encounter the diverse voices shaping contemporary art today.
Through ambitious experimentation and intimate storytelling, B26: Wiregrass Biennial reflects the complexity, resilience, and evolving identity of the Southeast.
