The Wiregrass Museum of Art (WMA) and Visit Dothan partnered to bring the work of Wiregrass-area artists into a new community setting. Beginning in July, the Visit Dothan office hosted quarterly rotating exhibitions, giving local artists a chance to share their work in a public, high-traffic space while connecting residents and visitors with the region’s creative voices.
The first exhibition featured artist Hannah Edgman, whose series Beauty Beyond the Orange used clay, acrylic, and watercolor to reimagine familiar scenes like construction zones and rural intersections. Through her work, everyday imagery was transformed into bold reflections on beauty, resilience, and community.
The partnership officially launched during the First Friday Art Crawl on August 1 at 4:00 P.M. at the Visit Dothan office. The free event welcomed community members and visitors to enjoy art, conversation, and local culture.
