Caring for the Wiregrass through Art program issues call to artists

Wallace Community College – Dothan (WCCD) Foundation, the Heersink Family Foundation, and the Wiregrass Museum of Art are partnering to showcase the work of artists living and working in the tri-state region including Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Caring for the Wiregrass through Art will serve as a touchstone for WCCD Health Science programs.

Artists participating in Caring for the Wiregrass through Art will receive payment for their original artworks.  Acquired artwork will be on display at the College and artists will receive ongoing recognition. We welcome a diversity of mediums and sizes, but all work must be two-dimensional and be able to hang on a wall.

Visit the Caring for the Wiregrass through Art page on WMA’s website for more details and to apply.

All submissions must be completed by December 6, 2019.
