Visiting Artist Workshop: Hand-building Snake Jugs with Sara Bowen

Come play in the clay with artist Sara Bowen. Bowen will share her hand-building practice with students at this workshop in WMA’s classroom. We will learn to handbuild snakes with a short tutorial on the drying and firing practice of unpainted stone about the drying and firing process. Bowen will bring handmade clay jugs for students to use as the base for their hand-built snakes. Don’t miss the opportunity to create your own unique ceramic work of art. Spots are limited to a maximum of 15 students.
